All operators always try to give their customers the best possible treatment, but if there is one that does so from a close and direct point of view, it is Pepephone. The operator that is part of the MásMóvil group is always trying to maintain that philosophy that characterizes it so much of giving its customers the best possible. Following this philosophy, Pepephone is now informing its customers that it is upgrading your cheaper and older convergent pack. We tell you more in this article.
As we told you, this virtual mobile operator is sending its customers of a specific fiber and mobile pack emails informing them that from today they will see how their rate improves without having to pay a penny more.
The cheapest rate, with more gigabytes
If we take a look at Pepephone’s convergent rates at this very moment, we can see how we have 3 options available. The most expensive has 600 Mbps fiber and a mobile line with 99 gigabytes and unlimited calls for 50.90 euros per month. The second, a little smaller, includes 400 Mbps and a mobile line with 25 gigabytes of data and unlimited calls for 42.90 euros per month (VAT included in both prices). These rates also differ in terms of additional lines, since in the first they cost 10 euros more per month and in the second 5 euros (with less data, of course).
The pack that interests us right now is the one that is missing to close the convergent offer, which is the cheapest. East, for 38.90 euros per month, it comes with 300 Mbps fiber and a line with 23 GB of data and unlimited calls. As we say, this is the cheapest that the operator has right now, but it has not always been like this. The most affordable rate has been changing over time, and this caused some customers to stay in an old phase paying the same as new customers are paying to have more.
The clients who are receiving the mail that we have mentioned are those who have contracted a fiber optic rate. 300 Mbps and at least one data line with 10 GB. These were paying 38.90 per month for their pack, the same price that other customers are paying for having more data on their mobile line.
The operator explains in the email that until today the change had not been possible. This rate began as an offer with 100 Mbps of fiber optics and a mobile line with 23 GB of data, so if customers had switched to this, they would have seen their Internet connection reduced to a third of its speed. This rate tripled its fiber for free until it became the rate it is today, but the change could not take place either because although the products together (fiber and mobile) were worth the same, the same did not happen separately (the mobile rate of 23 GB costs 14 €.90 per month and the rate of 10 GB 11.90).
Pepephone has devised a system so that change can take place. As the operator itself explains in this email, customers who had the rate with 300 Mbps and 10 GB on the mobile line will have 23 GB at no additional cost from now. What happens is that if the customer decides to cancel the fiber, that mobile line will again have 10 GB of data instead of 23. The change of these customers will begin today, and the GB will be recalculated retroactively from the beginning of this month.
