There are not many celebrities (yet) within the world of video games, but certainly one of them is Hideo Kojima. The creator of jewels like the ‘Metal Gear Solid’ franchise, or ‘Death Stranding’ has made a surprise appearance during the presentation of future Microsoft games for the Xbox, and has made an important revelation.
This Japanese creative has announced that Kojima Productions has partnered with Xbox Game Studios to work on a title that he has always wanted to do and that will be “something never seen before”.
All unknowns, all expectations
Kojima has not given more details about the project: he has not even specified the type of creation that it will bring us and has only pointed out that “it will take a while to see“.
What he has indicated is that this joint work with Microsoft will allow this project to take advantage of the potential of cloud technologysomething that seems to point to a very thoughtful experience for the game in streaming.
The collaboration is certainly striking and join that ambition of Kojima announced a few months ago to take advantage of “new opportunities in the television and film space”.
Kojima’s creative ability has been well demonstrated in the past, so now just wait patiently: we are sure that this wait will be worth it.
