This morning has been able to see from most of Spain and Latin America the total lunar eclipse. An eclipse accompanied by the Blood Moon, a phenomenon in which the Moon turns red due to the effect of the passage of sunlight through the Earth’s atmosphere.
The eclipse could be seen between 4:28 in the morning, Spanish peninsular time (CET), to end at 7:55 CET. The phenomenon also coincided with the supermoon, since these days the satellite is at its perigee, the area closest to Earth in its orbital path.
If you couldn’t see the eclipse, we bring you some photos and videos of the lunar eclipse on the night of May 15-15, 2022.

You can see the complete eclipse through the feed from NASA here:
the next eclipses
The next lunar eclipse cannot be seen from the Iberian Peninsula, and it will take place over the North Pacific. They will be able to see it in full from most of North America and East Asia. It will take place between November 7 and 8, 2022. In Spain we will have to wait until 2025 for the next total lunar eclipse.
Meanwhile, a partial solar eclipse does await us in a few months. Specifically the October 25 of this year. The eclipse can be seen very partially from the northeast of the Iberian Peninsula and the Balearic Islands.
